Good Link Sal Thanks

I think most of that makes sense and totally agree with the ideas behind compulsary insurance with reductions or no claaims bonus for proven good behaviour and or training eg deed not breed!!

Most of it made for very interesting reading and made sense to me. It also imo gave an opportunity for ignorant people to be educated as part of the conditions of continuing dog ownership. Of course this if implemented may mean an increase in abandoned dogs for those who could not afford insurance and their would, like their is with cars, always be those who choose NOT to insure, but like I said made some really good points and seems to me to be a good starting point for the abolition of BSL

Which has to be good for us all

Some very good points, but "judging a premium but the 'type' of dog, but it might also be reduced by the level of training given to the dog" i think could cause probs. ie. claims by people who own an unruly member of a certain breed and increase the premiums all owners of that breed. and also, how would they assess level of training if it is done at home and not by an "accredited scheme"?
