Show lead/collar

Hello,

We have started ringcraft with our 4 month old Airedale Terrier puppy. We used her normal collar and lead last night, but she isn't the best at walking nicely yet anyway, and last night was fat too interested in sniffing the floor and trying to hurtle up and down the hall! It is a very relaxed, sociable class anyway and nobody expects great things of the puppies but one of the trainers said that getting her used to wearing a show collar/lead may help her to realise that being at ringcraft is a different situation to walks etc, so she learns that she has to "work" at class. Does anyone have any suggestions on a first collar/lead for her, and places to buy online?

Hiya,

I have sent you a PM with a website addy for you, hope that helps :smt002

I use a check collar made of nylon, you can also get chains too. I don't know which is best for an Airedale, but I am sure there will be someone along shortly who knows and will be able to advise you.

I will warn you though, showing is addictive!!! Good luck in the ring xxx

Any chance I could have that link too please?? Finding a good slip lead is what I'm having problems with.
