Hello from Illinois!

Hello everyone!

I'm pretty active on a horse forum, but sold my horse so I'm moving over here.

I have a 3 year old Lab mix named Roxy. She was a stray in St. Louis and I was lucky enough to be able to rescue her when she was about 5 or 6 months old (based on teeth).

I did her foundation training with a military police K9 trainer and we focused on off-leash obedience. I also do group training classes with her that focus on confidence and manners. Overall, she's a pretty well educated dog.

I'm planning on getting her into agility training next month. My goal is to be able to compete with her. I grew up showing horses and really miss being competitive.
