Bobby, Patterdale, DOB 05.07 – Northampton, Northamptonshire


Homing Requirements: Bobby needs a family without young children and only terrier savvy visiting children. He needs a secure garden with exit management so no laziness leaving the front door open! He has a grass allergy between May and September so needs a low grade medication. Plus a simple introduction strategy for introducing visitors.

His Story: Bobby was rescued 2 years ago. His family have really settled him since then and they and Bobby have grown together in understanding key rules. He has managed with a cat and initially a new-born baby but he has started to growl as the baby is crawling and approaching him, hence his need for a new home. Bobby is neutered, chipped and vax'd.

Advert: Bobby is emerging as a confident and fluent Patterdale with the meticulous care and attention his owners have given him in the 2 years they have had him from rescue. Although they still muzzle him outside he is now beginning to settle in the company of another dogs and is easily distracted into walking on by! Bobby is already relaxing outside and beginning to show play overtures when meeting dogs. Bobby obeys house rules and is chilled in his home. He would appreciate a quiet home again.

Bobby is a wire-haired Patterdale, he is 5years old and in good health. Bobby doesn't like to walk in hot sunshine and also has a grass allergy in summer months. Winter & he is keener to walk and enjoy the partnership he and his owners have developed outside. Bobby is set up for a superb handover from his custodians who now have a baby which has to take their time and Bobby is opting out of by choice.
