Her mum was a first cross whippet/greyhound and her dad was a border collie. She was the runt of the litter and has ended up around 20 inches tts. All her siblings made around 24 inches. However she is the only one still alive so what she lacks in height she has made up with longevity!!

I've really really enjoyed looking at your photos. Your dogs certainly have an idyllic life - sorry to hear about Sam though. It's very hard when they are in their twilight years and then get ill. He seems to be enjoying life though as you say, bless him. I love Fallon too, I am a GSD girl but thought all your dogs were beautiful. Loved the cat at the end too. Carry on posting your photos they are a joy to look at. Gillx

Wow what stunning stunning dogs you have.
I have to say I am a little bit in love with Willow she is just beautiful.
I love watching sight hounds move they are just poetry in motion!!
You have some great action shots. I never ever have my camera or phone to hand when mine do anything remotely interesting!
I am so sorry to hear about your beautiful boy Sam. It is so hard isn't it but thank god he has you and you have gotten him through the worst of it please god and he is still here enjoying his lovely life!
Please please keep the pics coming xx

Absolutely gorgeous hounds
They are all stunning but i must admit i too am completely smitten with pipsqueak!!!

We have also had a visit from the dreaded c this year which has resulted in a rear leg amputation and we are preparing for chemo too. Its fab to hear how well Sam is doing, i'm dreading chemo. Xxx

Wow, thank you all so much for your lovely comments. I shall post some more pics soon.

I can't belive Granny Grump is getting such a following, she'll turn into a full on Diva - a cross between Victor Meldrew and Madonna. God help us.

Grommit - fingers crossed for your dog. From what my vet has told me, most dogs do take chemo in their stride and are not prone to such severe side effects as humans.
I think the worst part is finding veins after they have been having it for a while. Initially Sam's were really easyto tap into and he was all done and dusted within 10 minutes but now it seems to take that long just to locate a suitable vein. Overall it has been less stressful and traumatic than I had imagined.
And the main thing of course is that it seems to be working.
Good luck with your greyhound xx

Got to go now and warm up Pipsqueaks bed for her - she like to be in a warm bed by midnight!!
