Oh Malka, only you and Pereg herself can tell you when SHE has had enough. Dogs will tell you with the look in their eyes when they cannot go on. You know your limitations and God we know you have gone beyond them and still will if you think she can continue to have some quality of life. Because that is what it is all about quality of life. No use keeping her going because you love her it has to be because she loves you and wants to live and feels she has still some more to give so not much different to how you feel about her really. I know that together you will make the right decision and I wish you more joy together with God's grace. God bless you.

Well said.

Malka, sadly you've had these before, you do what you have to and let us all pray this is the last for a long time.

I am so sorry you and Pereg are going through this. I have no experience but just wanted to send you many prayers and strength to continue your journey with Pereg. You are an exceptional woman and are an angel.

Malka, I haven't been here long but long enough to know that you will do whatever is best for Pereg. You'll know when to do what has to be done as no one knows her or loves her like you do. I've had to make the same decision a few times and it's always hard but has to be done for the sake of her quality of life. I hope all is well for Pereg and you.

Pereg has decided that she is back to her normal self. For the moment. Ram has said that he refuses to euthanise her unless he considers it is the best, the only, thing to do. And I guess he knows best.

And I guess Pereg knows best as well.
