what do people expect from rescue dogs

there was a white boxer bitch picked up yesterday for re-homing she is in an awful state sores worms ear mites and really dirty so smells pretty bad she was to go to a couple that have been home-checked and knew what they were taking on they saw her and got the option to change their mind but no they wanted her so after the dog travelling for around5 hrs she was into her new home thet phoned last night about 1 hour after having her and said they had changed their mind they really would likle a nicer looking dog MY GOD does that not make you so angry she is being picked up just now in dundee by yvonne and jacquie who are helping me with the welfare and jacquie is going to keep her at least until she is in a better state so thanks J& Y YOU ARE GODSENDS thank goodness most people are not like the so called dog lovers who wanted her so yes we do make mistakes but thankfully not alot

God these people really get up my nose. I remember I got a cal the day after I had homed a dog to a really nice couple to say they would have to hand her back because she paced the room for 3 hours non-stop. What do they expect she was in a strange home with strange noises and smells. I hope your pretty girl gets a home real soon

All I expect from a rescue dog is companionship.

When u take on a rescue u expect a few teething problems and ailments. For goodness sake, some people!!!

We took on Tam, a rescue stafford bitch who weighed all of about 11 possibly 12kg and that was AFTER she had put on weight. It doesn't take much really to get a dog into a fit state if your prepared to put in the work. They will soon learn to love you and respect you.

some expect the perfect little dog that knows how to behave without putting any time or effort in to train the dog.
some will never be happy regardless of what the dog is or isn't people like this don't derserve a dog to start with.
if they came ready trained and house broken and all the rest of it ................i know i would have more than 2.
the rescues are the very dogs that need TLC due to the ****** that put them there if the first place.
