I was praying for snow this winter so Star could pull us about on a sledge.
Looking at them you dont realise how strong they are.

I realised how strong Saffy was when I measured my right arm and it was a foot longer than my left.

Star lunged at some highland cattle on holiday last October and pulled me down a pothole. My ankle was knacked for about 2 months afterwards.
They catch you unawares

Saffy ran at me once when I came through the back door and launched herself at me trying to lick me, I fell backward out the door and banged my head on the shed, she then just sat next to me as if to say, "hi mum why you lying on the floor."

It is such a releif to hear that its not just sonny that leaps toward people - he just gets too excited He is only 6 months and he nearly broke my arm whilst running out the door. I worry sometimes that he is learning bad habbits - does your dogs do things like harrass you if you are eating -sonny is terrible. But I still love him.

Love sam and sonny

Both Saffy and Max sit as close as they can to me when Im eating and looking dolefully into my eyes, they then start drooling and cocking their heads on one side. its very off putting. Soon as Iv finished eating and go to put my plate in the sink they follow closely to see if I drop anything. I wouldnt mind but they never get scraps so its a pointless exercise.
