just back from the vets!

Got an awful shock today, back from shopping and open the door to be greeted by my boy whos face was all swollen.
His lips, muzzle and face was swollen so we went straight to the vets.
Anyway she said it had been the 3 dog in in two days with a swollen face, she checked him over, heart, temp, done some eye dye test??
Turns out he may have been stunning by a sleeping wasp??
or it was a reaction to something.
So he had a injection and she said he was goin to be fine, but if any problems bring him back.
She said he was in tip top condition and health and commented on what a lovely natured dog he was!
He just stood there while she took temp
injection, dyed his eyes and hop straight on the scales!
Im very proud of him, she said she wished all her patients were so well behave!
Hopfully the swelling will go down soon and he'll be back to his handsome self....he looks abit puffy at the moment!
But we'd still love him anyway!
Oh and his weight was a shock he weighs a woping 33 kg anyone know what that is in bls??
Thanks for reading Im very proud of him, hes asleep at the mo feeling very sorry for himself, bless him!

Awwwwwwww well done to your boy...Cosmo hops round like a loony if they try to take his temp. You have every right to be proud.

A couple of ours have had allergic reactions like that in the past, one again was from eating a wasp/bee in winter time....why do they do such things?????
Hope he feels better soon, healing hugs form us x

Poor boy, I hope the meds soon kick in.

What lovely comments from the vet, though no more than he deserves, I'm sure
