Mine are on it every day, I buy 15kg bags of the dry both original and the chicken, they have it mixed with green tripe and they have fabulous coats, never have any dodgy tums, no sickness and Reah who has problems with her colon and liver, thrives on it Infact she is on no medication now whatsoever and the vet can only put it down to what her diet is

i personally would not use chappie if sum1 paid me 2 it has long sincebeen known it is at the cheaper end of the scale of food and fullof animal derrivatives as a child i remember our dog being on chappie and the dog did nothing but empty its bowels constantly and in my belief it is still used by alot of rescue centres because itss cheap processed derrivatives that are only suitable for surviving off its not good enough fora dog to have energy and live healthily and happily off

Chappie is an excellent dog food especially for those dodgy tums unless of course your dog has a wheat/gluten intolerance.

Yes I have had one of my previous dogs on it all the time as she got a very dodgy tum on other foods. She was the peak of health on that. Her coat shone and she stayed a good healthy weight and I can't praise it highly enough.
Its one of those foods that doesn't look good on paper but that for a great proportion of dogs metabolizes in their system perfectly.
Over the years I have seen lots of success stories of dogs changed to chappie.
For a dodgy tummy though the tinned does seem better than the dried.

All my oldies went on to Chappie eventually as recommended by the vet . They did very well on it and had no upset stomachs .

We changed Monty on to chappie after trying several more expensive foods and we still feed him on it now as it has done wonders for his loose bowels.

His coat still looks incredibly healthy as well.

I see what your saying, but its a known thing that vets and even Veterinary specialists will recommend Chappie.

Reah has been through an horrendous accident years back and it left her with internal injuries, when I saw the specialist some years later to check on a problem with her one leg he asked what I fed her on, when I said Chappie, his actual words were ''thats brilliant, thank goodness you do its the best IMO'' I think you will find Chappie doesn't do harm. As Madmare said unless the dog is wheat/gluten intolerant
