i just think some dogs are weird, all the sheps up here love satsuma's, but at least 2 of them like lemon, my mums rescue emmy is hilarious to watch (mum cuts up lemon into slices and then freezes them to put into juice) i offered her a slice from my glass and she kept trying to eat it while her eyes were screwing up because of it being sour but it didn't put her off

Just what I was going to say! Cherry always loved the last bit of satsuma that jamie used to have each day.

I don't see why they can't as a treat, the only thing to be careful of is citrus damaging their teeth which is the same as us. Might be fun watching a dog eating an orange though.......

Our collie cross, Lulu ,
who we sadly lost 6 mths ago
today, absolutely loved oranges, satsumas, melon ,apples and pears but wouldnt touch bananas.

Our other dog Buster hated all of them ,
but since he developed dementia ,about 8 mths ago,he has loved oranges and will sit and beg as Lulu did
Found it a bit upsetting at first as its something he has never done before and it reminded me of Lulu
