Most popular dog names

Don't know whether this has been done before but I was wondering what are the most popular dog names. I seem to know a lot of people with dogs called Monty or Murphy. I suppose its the same with childrens names, they come in and out of fashion. I've never come across a dog called Rover or Fido though.

To date, I have had a Bess, Peggy, Rosie,Sharry, Bella, Rip, Bruce, Molly,Poppy and of course Millie and Patch.
I loved every one of them!! :smt049
When I had Molly her name (at one point) was the most popular. But around my neighborhood I think I know of quite a few Holly's. It is very popular here.
