Book: A book for first time puppy owners

We frequently get asked on the forums about books for the first time puppy owner.
I would like to recommend a booklet written in easy to understand terms by two members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Lyn Fleet and Helen Roberts ...

''The Fast track Puppy Survival Kit''

Using positive training methods if followed the advice will set the new owner on the path to achieving a well behaved confident dog.

From doggames.co.uk @ £3

and other places including Amazon.

I have this book, after seeing it recommended on several sites. Some dog breeders even include it in their Puppy Pack for new owners. It's a brilliant little book, and also fairly easy for children to read.

it is totally fabulous as is their other book dealing with puberty. Easy to read and covers everything you need to know, it is also affordable. I would highly recommend it and, if people can manage it, I would also recommend their classes.
They are fab people.. I admit I am also very pleased to have them as friends

But she hunts as a pack with her sister to wind up gullible..no sorry, trusting people!!! They are a fab, I actually owe them a great deal. (Not financially lol) In all seriousness though, the book is well worth getting as is the puberty one and if you can get to their classes, do, they are the best in miles.
