REVIEW - Underdog

***No Spoilers but if you dont want to know about it before you see it DO NOT READ!***

I can sum this one up in a word - CHEESE!

Not the worst film I have seen by far but definitely not the best. There are much better dog films out there. Some mentioned in another Underdog thread on here!

I dragged my partner to see this with me and we both laughed and groaned our way through, as would be expected I suppose with any film involving a flying Beagle! Some funny lines and the shorts outtakes at the end are fairly good fun to watch if you have the time to stick around.

For me the kid that played Underdog's owner ruined the whole film - he was wooden and unemotional and I doubt very much we will be seeing him in anything else after this.
On the other hand - the best part of the whole film was seeing James Belushi back in Doggy-action! Any K-9 fan will know exactly what I mean. I cant watch him without seeing Jerry Lee by his side!

There are many references to the cartoon series though for those of you that know it, and you get to watch dogs for an hour and 20 mins so it is definitely not a complete loss.

Rating out of 10: 5
