Daily Thread, Thursday, 17th August

Good morning everyone, hope you are all fit and well, both two legged and four legged friends.

Have a good day all, looks like I shall be walking Amber in the rain. Take care everyone, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless.

Good morning Moyra, and all.
Sunny here at the moment. Hoping to get out and do a bit of tidying in the garden today.
Our friends come from Germany again next week so there is a lot of tidying in general to do
But first a cup of coffee is in order I think!

Good morning Moyra, Nippy and all who follow

Please don't go overdoing it Nippy.

Persistimg down here so Teazle has taken herself back to bed Been out for Barry's prescription and at long last they have told me why they never have it - its not one they stock so have to order, good thing I take it in a week before he needs it. Just came out of the chemist and the drizzle had turned to a deluge. Never mind home and now having a coffee.

Yesterday's repair to son's back door step went well and he even managed to get a gloss coat on it - good thing if he has the weather we have.

Have a good day and stay safe and above all dry.

Morning Moyra and Nippy jen and all to follow.
Horrible wet day here.

Had a lovely afternoon yesterday with Michael and Margaret and niece, great niece and great great nephew. Plus Peter niece's husband.
We had lunch in the garden and lots of laughter and chatter. Didn't get any photos though.

griff hope kota's paw is feeling better today.

Been in touch with our Michael he hasn't had appointment for specialist yet. he has given up smoking though and also maca has so very pleased about that. Mark gave up last year. One less worry.
Michael has also purchased a bike through work and cycles 20 miles daily to and from work he says he is feeling much better for both. he has a helmet bike has lights and it is mostly designated cycle ways to so not to much worry about.

Gorden taken his car for mot so we are expecting another bill.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well.

Nippy, i second taking it steady with the tidying
Sue...why on earth didn't they just tell you that they need to order it in?? How odd
Lynn, hope it is a very very small bill if at all
Lotsa paw seems o.k...got the plaster bandage thing off...didn't realise it was sticky until i tried to pull it off, thank goodness that i still had sticky plaster remover from when diesel had her holter monitor
Thanks for the good wishes about the cardiologist...i can't decide if i want them to find something or not

Afternoon the car passed.
So we went out for lunch. Brought a beautiful black and white photo (print) of Venice. The old buildings with the wooden walkways overlooking the grand canal towards the dome.
Fell in love with it and the frame.

Hope the cardiologist has gone well griff.
Hope the doglets that didn't get their walks this morning because of rain have achieved them this afternoon.

Awww great news about the car...brilliant!!
Mandy you are right, the packing in has to be Tonys decision or he won't stick to it
Wellll cardiologist was a bit odd, he never asked family history, if i smoked or drank, told me a pulse of 133 can happen be due to thyroid diabetes etc...yeah i have none of those, he was going to send me on my way until i told him i had GPA...which obviously affects arteries and blood vessels then all of a sudden it was ooo we should get an echo done!! so i now have to wait for an appointment for an echo, he wanted to do a holter monitor but i said i had one last september...i don't want to waste the NHS money by getting another so we aren't doing that...so will wait for my appointment and see whats what...i now weigh 54 kilos which is 8.5 stone so lost 3 1/2 stone
