You may have Endometriosis.....If it is that bad, go to your Doctor and insist that you see a specalist.......theres no need to suffer so badly.

I had Lazer Treament 5 years ago and had been pain free for about 41/2years,sadly seems to be Back,Im off to Doctor to see if op can be re-done

The pain also makes me sick

The op does not Hurt, I had to stay in Hospital over night, but only because I was so sleepy most people have it done as Day surgery.

Hope you feel better soon.

What helped my pain abit was lay on your back on the floor bend your knees get feet as close to bum as poss and rock legs from side to side.

Exercise is great, but when you feel so bad its the last thing you want to do.

Ailsa when I had my son I was induced, I had contractions every 5 mins, lasting 5 mins, for 13 hours, they didn't get worse than my period pains untill just over 9 hours later. You are totally right, every week in 4 I am practically housebound for at least the first 3 days when it is at it's worst. They are really heavy and if I do too much I end up passing out as I usually become anemic and have to take tablets for that too. I have been to the doctors so many many many times since I was 16 years old and passed out the first time, this is when they doctor found out about the anemia. I have been swapped and changed on allsorts of tablets and jabs. Nothing seems to work for me, I even became pregnant whilst on the mini pill. My mum suffers badly from endo and has had 4 ops so far, I have been checked but don't have any signs as of yet.

I'm glad someone else has the same probs tho, even my doctor (a man) looks at me as if to say "it's only period pains...."

That's so very true, it does work but it's the last thing I want to do, plus makes me feel sick and dizzy, even if it does ease the cramps

The tablets I am on do work, but only for a couple of hours, and then I have to put up with it untill I can take the next tablet, and wait for it to kick in

"I have been checked but don't have any signs as of yet."

Have the had a Look inside? I was told from scans that they didnt think I had it but when I had Key-hole surgery so they could have a look about to see what was going on I did have it.

No just had scans (4 of them since I was 16 - i'm now 21). You think maybe I should push them for keyhole? I did always wonder as it runs in the family.

Its not normal to suffer as much as you do with normal periods I would go to the Doctor and insist that you see a specialist.
