Red bald patch under her chin?

Does anyone know what this could be? I noticed it around 2 week ago and thought she'd found a hot spot type place and scratched at it but iv had a week off work and not noticed any scratching at all.. Iv been putting tea tree cream on it but it doesn't seem to be getting better.. is there anything else I could try? It doesn't seem as red as what it does in the photo.. think its the flash..

Hi Jess I think it could be a bacterial infection and I would get it checked by the vet to prevent it getting any worse.

He will probably prescribe a wash or cream .

Thankyou! Didn't think of a bacterial infection. I'll book her in. Just wasn't sure if it was something that could be treated at home. Unfortunately see hates the vets now since I left her there to have a lump removed. Hate having to stress her out if it's not needed. X

You could always try some hypercal cream. It has antiseptic properties and antibacterial and mild anasthetic. Good for that sort of problem. You can get it from Boots or a good chemist. Wash the sore place first with a salt solution and dry. Great danes and white coated, pink skinned dogs are prone to these.

Have you changed treats, food or maybe something in the environment?
It may be a skin allergy.

It could be the rabbit. Have you checked for rabbit mites? If it is the rabbit then a trip to the vet for something to get rid of the mites is a possibility. Or could it be the bedding that the rabbit is on?
