I am pleased to hear that Georgie is home now, where he should be {hugs}. I always find picking up the ashes really emotional, but it does get a little better each day from now on.

I still have Moss's ashes here in his lovely box, and have decided that when it is Flame's time to go () I will bury her on the hill behind our house, and I will put Moss's ashes in with her - as they were such good friends.

RIP Georgie boy - we all miss you xxx

I was a little better when I picked up Sam's ashes and then collapsed in floods in the surgery. It just makes it so real again. It's a comfort having him home now as you say. He is at peace bless him. x

Thanks guys, I've just managed to sell this house properly now, so it'll keep me occupied a bit now I won't have time to dwell, although I'll always find the time to remember

Oh Kirsty, when you said that about Flame, my heart skipped a beat, I don't think I can bear even the thought of you losing that dear girl - I've known her almost as long as you've had her, she is so very speshall to me you know.xxx Just like old Georgie was and still is.xxxx
