Morning dogsey daily thread Monday.

Again.
Well it is wet again here it was raining at 2.30 when Dillon decided he needed to go out he is good now though if he needs out in the middle of the night he comes straight back in and settles down till morning.
Yesterday we did no packing but Gorden has nearly finished the loft and we did an on line quote for removal.
Today for me before doing anything it is catchup with Corrie and Downton. I missed corrie running Joel home and watch by any means. I like Downton when its just me and my brekkie. We watch by any means on BBC1 excellent crime drama.

I just want to clear one thing up I don't want no wabbit.

Helena I bet you are relieved there no early morning breakfasts today.
Sara so glad the dinner went well it looked delicious.
Bev any new on the ponies ? I hope they are still holding their own. What a shame the police won't get involved.
Surely to begin with it was on a public highway off lead that's an offense. Maybe they need nudging and nab hm for that at least if they can find him.
June I hope Keshi is still doing good Pooh's and it will soon be Wednesday and we will all know if there are to be puppies.
Pat thinking of you and Mart is it today the stitches come out ? If it is wishing him well.
Malka hoping you and Pereg had a restful night.
Sally hope the visit from BT goes satisfactorily.

I hope I haven't missed anyone.

Off to do my first cuppa of the day and do Gorden's breakfast and lunch.
Catch you all later.

Good morning Lynn!

I'm assuming that catching up on Corrie and Downtons means you are watching Soaps? The language barrier here is sometimes a bit of an issue for me lol.

I'm still coming down off my thanksgiving dinner high lol. I'm just so happy that I didn't ruin anything, and that the duck turned out (and was SOOOOOOO GOOD! ) I will never ever cook anything but Duck for thanksgiving/Christmas dinner! It was 100x better than turkey!

Tomorrow/today, I need to do laundry and such, so another busy day... but I get to eat leftovers!

Malka, I hope Pereg is ok today, and stops with the seizures. I'm so glad Mouse isn't like that.... I don't know that I could cope the way you do.

Have a good day all, I'll see you when I wake up!

Enjoy your corrie and downton abbey lynn, thats one of my favorite programs i love period drama's.
Not much to do today except the usual mundane things, washing, housework etc.
Here's hoping everyone has a good day.

Morning Lynn, Sara and everyone

Lynn, I bet that was a bit of a shock seeing that online quote there, I know it was with ours, cos when you haven't moved for 20 odd years prices go up don't they. Don't forget your garden pots, you don't have to leave them there, and I was so glad I brought all mine. They're probably the only things we still have that we brought with us apart from a chair and a couple of tables. Enjoy your tv catchups with brekkie.

Sara, I'm so glad that lunch of yours was a success, and it sounds a lot better than that last duck I cooked lol! Enjoy the leftovers today and night night to you.

Dave went off at 6 am, but I didn't get up it was too dark so I went back to sleep. He arrived home last night from his racing at 7.30 and the first thing I noticed was how he was shouting when he spoke to me cos normally I have to strain me ears to hear him. He was soaked through, and his thick waterproofs couldn't cope with the torrential rain all day long, so he stood in the kitchen, stripped off, wringing out his socks and underpants in the sink to show me how bad it was, even his money was soaked through but I salvaged that on the radiator.

The question for him today will be whether or not his employee returns from his 2 week holiday in Shri Lanka cos when he left, Dave reckons he's done a bunk, and that wouldn't be good for Dave's business, as he's the only mot tester he's got left, oh dear, that'll be a worry.

Got the neighbour's son coming early this morning to make a start on the driveway. He's going to pressure wash it, then resand it, weedkiller and then seal it all, should look lovely when it's finished and it's far too big a job for me or Dave. I had a quote from a company who specialises in this and they quoted us £600, but this neighbour is doing it for £80 - sorted!

Hope everyone is well along with the doglets, haven't been keeping up at all, only popping in, but no time to answer, and now I've forgotten it all.

Enjoy your day everyone

Morning Lynn and fellow members,

My OH took my son to the station at 6.50 as he's working in Reading today and tomorrow. Of course as soon as the dogs realised someone was awake they were up and about so an early start in this household. I've just heard that there's a problem with SW trains this morning coming in to London so I hope Tang and Martin wont' be effected by the chaos if they have to go by train to get the stitches out.
A weather app on my computer says we are having 'sprinkles' ..... its more than sprinkles its proper rain but feels quite mild.
I have the dentist to finish off the root canal at 10.20 today.

Lynn - Enjoy your tv 'catch-up' this morning. I can't think of anything better when its dark and damp outside than watching TV .... although you should possibly be packing
Sara - I didn't get back on last night so hadn't heard how successful the duck was. Well done you must have been delighted
Helena - I bet Dave and his mates had a brilliant day ... I did think of him when I was watching it live on TV yesterday .... but such a shame it was so wet
June - I hope the kennel floor is free from any misshaped items and Keshi is back to her normal lively self.
Malka - I hope you had a peaceful night with Pereg.

See you all later.

Morning Lynn and all,

Work till 5.30 for me today. Lily has woken up with one of her gurgly painful tummies. She has had her medication and I have just cooked her some chicken and rice. I think its been caused by nerves this time. The last week or two she suddenly seems to get very scared in the house, if she can get outside she won't come back in and I have to put a lead on her and drag her in, she then runs upstairs and cringes on the bed.
I have no idea whats causing it. Last night she was asleep next to me on the sofa while I was watching tele. She woke up and started acting strange so I thought she wanted the toilet. I let her out but she didn't go she hovered outside looking terrified and wouldn't come back in so had to be dragged in where again she flew upstairs. This morning in panic she slipped on the kitchen floor and has hurt her back leg. Not sure whats going on. Its lovely here but I can't have her living in fear especially as i am out quite a lot and its getting worse everyday, she could badly injure herself while i am at work with her panic..

The big horse attacked is still very subdued and sore and swollen and a cause for concern. The little shetland is still in a bad way and on intravenous treatment.
The police won't act on any dog related incidents round here and was the same where I moved from unless it involves injury to a human. So wrong.

Malka I hope Pereg has had a quiet night and you got some rest.

Jenny good luck at the dentist.

Lynn those removal costs are so expensive, hope you can find a good quote.

Have a good day everyone.
