Mandy - 2 year old female Jack Russell Terrier
Mandy, Jack Russell, DOB 04.10 - Kent
Homing requirements: Mandy needs a confident Terrier family who can steer her through settling in situations that she can find threatening; like meeting dogs outside or exciting visitors. Mandy has been around children but we are unsure whether she has lived with them in the past. May settle with a male dog.
Her Story: Mandy was found stray and homed from a pound in with an elderly couple who couldn't read her, and witnessed trainers demonstrating her skills, but they were too anxious. Mandy has done well in rescue and is ready for her home. She is neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Waiting in a Kent rescue for a foster place or kennel space with ourselves but can be homed directly.
Advert: Mandy responds well to reassurance and a confident manner. She, like all terriers, will follow commands to please or to achieve treats not because she is ordered! Mandy has come along way in rescue and frequently has off lead exercise with other dogs and her confidence has grown. The new family and Mandy would benefit from engagement in, and enjoyment of a training course. Mandy travels well on the back seat of the car using a harness.
Mandy is a short legged tan and white Jack Russell. Probably in her 2nd year and needing guidance and the chance to settle. Terrier experienced hands would see her shine and develop into a fun little girl. A busy girl who would enjoy being out and about then later curled up in the sun or by the fire!
If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
***PLEASE NOTE: We are a rescue finding dogs their forever homes. We usually ask for a minimum donation of £150 at the time of adoption, for each dog, to help us continue helping homeless dogs***.
