Utonagan on the River

Found my camera, and took these today, sun wasn't out as forecast, but felt quite hot down there. Clouded over and went dark at one point, hence why some of them look like they were taken at dusk!!!
These ARE piccie heavy!!!

Great pictures and what a lovely spot for them to play. Could do with some water here not seen rain since we moved in last Wenesday.

Great pics of such pretty girls. Surprised to see the strangle collar, but I am not one to talk as I've used them in the past.

Like Malka said, this isn't pic heavy and it's hard to be pic heavy with such pretty doggies, anyway.

I love how they managed to keep their top halves dry

Myra, that is not a "strangle" collar, it is a Martingale collar.

No, it's not a martingale collar... but it doesn't matter either way.

Do you mean a check chain Myra. The only person that can keep a half check (Martingale) collar in one piece is Cariad, the rest of them get chewed up. I walk them in gentle leaders anyway. I'm not getting into an argument about it, but my dogs are taught from the word go to walk by my side by using treats, so you will never see them dragging me along the road being strangled by a check chain, partly because they wouldn't and partly because if you have the loop running right then it releases straight away, if you have it the wrong way round then it does choke. 3 of my girls are trained to KC Gold Good Citizen standard, Keshi is in the Gold class now at 19 months, so to get to that standard means they have the ability to walk to heel off or onlead, come away from other dogs when called etc

Used incorrectly, and if the dog is allowed to pull, then a martingale collar, in fact any collar can cause damage

Here's a couple of piccies of Mabs wearing her Julius K9 harness, which I took off when she went in the river, so you see....just because they have check chains on, doesn't mean to say they are used for anything other than putting their ID tags on in the main, in fact my friends call them their necklaces
I think you're confusing me with someone who knows RockAll
