Tadgh ~ Super Boy Full Of Beans – 2yo Fawn Greyhound

TADGH

Meet the lovely Tadgh (pronounced Tige like ‘tiger’). He is a 2 year old greyhound boy who wasn’t very successful in the racing world. He is certain to make a fantastic family pet though! Tadgh is a handsome fawn boy who is going to be just stunning once he loses his thick kennel coat and becomes super sleek and shiny.

~ Personality ~
Tadgh is a really lovely boy and would do so well in a family type home where he has lots of people doing lots of things. He is full of beans and absolutely adores people. He is quite the character and will practically turn himself inside out for a rump rub!

~ Other Animals ~
Tadgh is a lovely boy and very social with other dogs of all sizes. He would do so well in a home with another dog or two present to keep him company. He is very playful and loves racing around playing chase with his hound friends. Tadgh may be suitable to live with cats but we will be testing this thoroughly before deeming him as officially cat friendly.

~ In the Home ~
Dear Tadgh has not yet been in a home environment, so new owners will need to be a bit understanding at the start and give him time to learn the house rules. It generally takes greyhounds 10-14 days to start to settle in a home, and really all they need is time and patience.

~ Out and About ~
Tadgh lives for his walks and is happiest when he’s out and about, seeing the world with his people. He walks good on the lead though gets a little excited at the start. This will likely calm down once he is in a stable home with regular exercise.

~ Greyhounds as Pets ~
In general greyhounds are calm, mannerly dogs that are well used to being handled. They can fit very well in to a wide range of different lifestyles and usually adjust to the home life very quickly. Their soft, easy going nature often makes them ideal to live in a family with children, while their love of lazing around and low exercise requirements can make them perfect for the elderly. Greyhounds also don’t shed as much as other more popular dog breeds and this can make them suitable to live with allergy sufferers.

~ Where Am I? ~
Tadgh is currently in kennels in Norfolk, UK. He can be homed anywhere in the UK, but please note that you will be required to travel to meet and collect him.

~ Want To Adopt Me? ~
Tadgh is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-flea'd and wormed and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

If you are interested in adopting or short-term fostering Tadgh, please email me for our adoption application form and information pack. Emails are usually replied to within 24 hrs. Thanks!
