Where to walk a dog (dartmouth devon)

If this is in the wrong place im sorry

In 4 weeks (ish) im moving to Dartmouth with her ladyship (malta went out the window ) and im trying to find out where i can walk her etc, I've googled it and thats come up with nothing so im hoping someone on here lives near there or in the area to help me out a bit,
I currently live on the coast so i know the rules about the beach for here but is it the same down there? I just have so many queries regarding what to do with shila as its a very touristy place.
Any help would be spot on x

Buy an os map of south Devon.

look on google maps at the satalite picyures see whats near where you are going to live.
There will be loads of walks to go on its Devon so you won't be short of somwhere to go.
