Tiffany, Collie x Terrier, 8-10 years old
Tiffany, Collie x Terrier, 8-10 years old
Her Story: Tiffany was found stray thank God! She hadn't been well cared for and now is going to be her time!
Salient points: A older Collie x Terrier who is a darling with a tender heart and grateful for everything she is offered. Health improved since she has had full veterinary attention to address her state of neglect.
Advert: Tiffany is a beautiful chocolate brown older lady with lovely markings and her fur is becoming so soft to touch. Such a pleasure to meet her and to see how she has come through into good health since arriving with fur loss, bad teeth and persistent kennel cough which have all been sorted. She is now in foster with a placid dog. She presents as sad, but becomes enlivened in response to certain activities. She asks for little; she loves her food, loves her walks and tends to retire to her bed if she isn't following 'her leader'.
Tiffany meets dogs well on her walks and can easily live with another dog or 2. Although she must have been an only dog as intially she is a little unsettled, so a companion dog that is perhaps not too interactive, just a stable companion. She is easy to walk and loves to meet people and children. She lives with foster children, but isn't ever so involved other than she will play fetch and loves cuddles and strokes. Her hearing is poor, but her vision seems OK. Tiffany has had an impoverished life and she instinctually becomes the background dog. Content with little just wants walks, warmth and strokes. Tiffany would be great as a companion for an older person who enjoys short walks, some one to chat to and both to enjoy visitors when they come and then the blessed silence when they've gone!
