Hair loss/season

Has anyones bitch had any hair loss after her season ?
if so how long did it last for and did you give any supplements ?

havnt experienced this....but have heard recently to give them starflower oil capsules... suposed to be really good...

Yes it can happen...due to hormonal changes, I would recommend
omega 3 found in fish body oil (not cod liver oil) from health fod shop

yes, I have used them..garlic and omega FBO ..not medication of any kind though ...harder to calculate quantities with human stuff ...look on the net for dog version think it is cheaper, haven't used it for ages but used to get from local health shop. Since I changed to Burns don't need to use it as coat very good.

Minnie's got terrible hair loss at the moment lel. She's just had a season.

Where does she have it Anne? Libbys seems to be under her chin but it looks like its spreading.
She's been de flead recently too so it cant be that.
Vet said just to keep an eye on it and if it spreads or becomes overly itchy to take her back
Although she finished her season round christmas time which seems a while ago???

Have bought some starflower caps today and will try the others recommended too to see if it makes a difference

I forgot to say she was at the vets and he reckoned it was mange at first, but I took her last night and he said proberbally hormonal.

He told me this after spending a fortune on mange treatment. Grrrrrrr
