Mums cat has gone to the bridge

My mums just rang and told me that Mindy has sadly passed away

Mindy came to my mum about 6 years ago now, my mum has two dogs that cant stand cats and so couldn't bring her into the house, so after 2 days she called the RSPCA to come and get the cat, but they refused to take her as she was fit and well and said she would probably find her way home in time, she wasn't chipped either so mum had no way of knowing where Mindy came from well after a further 2 days Mindy still didn't go home so mum and dad made her a warm cosy shelter in their shed where she could shelter from the wind and rain and have a nice cosy bed and blankets to snuggle up in, and was given a lovely dinner every day. (not the nicest of comforts I know but it was the best that mum could do for her and Mindy seemed happy) she has lived in that garden shed for all of those 6 years, coming and going as she pleased and had lots of love and cuddles from all the family over that time, and will be sadly missed by us all.

Run free over the bridge little Mindy. xx

Sounds like she had a great life living in the shed, if she wasn't happy she would have left.

RIP little Mindy

Thanx for that Anne I've just told mum the exact same thing, my mums so upset that Mindy never found a home to live in but I told her that Mindy had them both and if she wasn't happy there she would have gone and mum and dad are always in the garden doing one thing or another so Mindy was never short of company, and she was given everything that mum could offer to make her life comfortable, that shed is even heated!!!

But she did find a home. It may not of been in your mum's house but the fact that she was still loved by you all, made it home to her.

Night night Mindy
