I love my dogs but...

Sometimes it's hard work!

This morning I woke up late, to dogs barking. OH, though awake, was showing no inclination to get up and let them out (I love him too... mostly )

Anyway, it being an hour after normal piddle time, I rushed downstair to find Roland hopping from side to side, virtually crossing his little legs. Was in the process of unlocking the back door when he decided he couldn't last a second longer, so he cocked his leg there and then and let rip...

right at me!

sorry but that did make me laugh...not just the thought of him piddling on your leg, but the description of him hopping from side to side

You could always invest in a dog-flap - then you could lie in till they wanted their breakfast.

awww norty roland.

we had a similar issue this morning, although cant blame bruno. We didnt have luca last night as was at my mums so with no one to wake us up, I awoke to dog whining in my face, to discover it was 11am !!!! poor bruno was desperate but wont go out til he has eaten his breakfast ( dont ask) so he literally hoovered his breakfast and then bolted to the back door so fast his head hit it before I could open it !!!!

on a side note - why does he wake me up and not my OH ???

Ah the joys of having a dog with a bladder roughly the size of a trucks petrol tank Dougal usually will wait till I come down and even then only when he realises I've walked past him three times

I'm still sniggering at the thought of a hopping dog with crossed legs
