Joint supplements

Does anyone give their dogs any joint care supplements ?

My 5 month old puppy has a 'Congenital shoulder luxation'
I know any kind of supplement will not cure her but I hope it'll help her other joints ....

I give all my chihuahuas cosequin rs , There all
so little and have such tiny little knees etc ..

I gave my GSP with spondylosis (arthritis of the spine) supplements since he was 6 (he`s nearly 14 now) - and my hound gets them when he`s a bit achy.
Mine get the human ones though - cod-liver-oil, plus glucosomine, chondriotin & msm. I get it online as it`s so much cheaper. However, I don`t think that would be the right dosage for tiny dogs. It does work though. Have you thought of acupincture as well? It really helped my dog.

I use Cosequin DS (large breeds) for a dog with ED, as yours is already on Cosequin I wouldnt give anything else.

Roxy suffers with luxating patella, and is on Syn-Flex for her joints. She's also on Metacam for the pain, and the combination of the two really help

Shaan, my GSD boy has Syn-flex too for his HD. Touch wood, he hasn't needed Metacam yet.

My puppy ( Dorothy/Dottie) is a special little dog , Who is a big part of my life

My 7 yr old Springer has arthritis and has Metacam (bought from VetMedic for half the price of the vet). I also give him Glucosamine and he hasn't seemed stiff in his joints since he started with them. He also has a lipoma (fatty lump) on his tum, and i was adivsed to give Vitamin E to help break it down - this seems to be working
