Garden Birds!

My vile male cat is really coming into his own the last week.
One stinking sardine by my bed, pigeon in my bedroom x2 and today a couple of starlings?

What is even more disgusting is the pup was eating one of them I got him to leave it and got him indoors. He then kept pestering to go outside. I noticed he kept disappearing in the bushes at the bottom of the garden, when I called him he came out with another bird in his mouth

What is wrong with him? Does he think he's a cat

I take it starlings are not on the 'Raw feeding' list

Reminds me of the time Copper, as pup, jumped on my lap and regurgitated a baby bird onto my lap

Corrie is always scratching at the door as soon as she sees our cat. She's doing quite well for rabbits at the moment

Sounds like he definitley thinks he's a cat if he's bringing them back to you

Starlings may not be on the raw feeding list, but they could well be on the vulnerable list if their decline continues:

"The RSPB's annual wildlife survey has recorded the lowest number of starlings in UK gardens for 30 years" (March 2012)

It's a pity your cat is catching them

I know, it's horrible. I don't like animals catching anything whether it's in decline or not

Couldn't you put a loud clanking bell on his collar?

see they say that but ive never known there to be more starlings about then i have seen this spring,
i doubt if it helps that less people bother to feed the birds
and less people bother to do surveys

Our kind and ever so lovable Adara brought a mouse in once,
Only problem was it was still alive, and the moment she spat it out in the middle of the floor the blasted thing made a mad bid for freedom under the tv stand...
