I had "Bus Stop" by the Hollies played for me on radio2 in 1966 when I left College to start my nurses training

No i'm not having a larf I never put the radio on when i'm in by myself & never listen to music. OH has Tons & Tons of old - I mean very old 50.s Country & Western tapes & loads of CD but he's not bothered about the newer stuff & hasnt bought any for years.
Now I have heard of Elbow. Eldest daughter loves them but I couldnt tell you any songs of theirs

Taio Cruz, Franz Ferdinand, Vampire Weekend and did hear Mark Owen at T in the Park a couple of weeks back - very good he was but all the above. I also love Snow Patrol & Mumford and Sons - great choice.

Ah, you can't beat a bit of Meatloaf. Or Queen. If you like a bit of variety, you could always get the Eddie Stobart Trucking Songs - a 3 CD set, I got mine from Tesco.

If you like female singers, I think Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' album is fabulous. I like Paloma Faith too.

My music collection ranges from opera to heavy metal, with everything in between! I quite enjoy opera when I'm cooking!
