Ollies Ear

Ollies been bitten on the ear by another dog theres a round tooth sized mark on the back and two smaller ones actually in his ear. I've cut his fur from round the bigger one, is bathing it in salt water enough, its not big enough to stich but it is open. Is it ok to put something like savlon on it?

I wouldn't put anything on it other than saline with a couple of drops of Tea Tree oil in it, the salt/tea tree oil should kill any infection & the best healer is the body itself

Colloidal Silver can also be used

..I too would just wash with saline (and maybe a tiny drop of Tee tree) watch the cut closely for signs of infection though...any swelling/discharge/redness and off to the vets if in any doubt.

He went to the vet he gave him some antibiotics and said if it doesnt clear up once they are finnished to take him back, he also said to keep bathing it to keep it clean. Its not as swollen as it was but still red. Dogs whod have em!
