Doesn't say anything about using a mask and goggles, I'd use rubber gloves anyway. Says keep the room ventilated, window is open all the time anyway to get rid of the smell
Moyra, I wouldn't be standing outside with him, turning your back on him and going in and out of sight and under NO circumstances showing any interest whatsoever in him is likely to help. Also maybe giving Amber a bone or something that he can see her eating and leaving him out of it.

Thanks TW sounds very logical.

Eileen so the Shih Tzu are not at all like the Lharso Apso in temperament then? Sounds ok to me.

June, Dave used something akin to brake fluid to clean all our gutters and fascias with and boy, they came up like new I told him that WD40 apparently does the same job, but he said it's not as good as the stuff he used - shall I ask him for you tonight? Our fascias had really inground dirt in them, and yet they've come up all sparkly white again with his stuff.

Just spent an hour on the phone trying to sort out these darned direct debits which I hate with a passion I've now managed to condense everything onto the one policy with Domestic and General, all that paperwork these insurance companies send you, it's enough to paper a room with Allegedly, he will now send me a brand new one piece document telling me what I have insured in the house together with the one monthly payment and then I can shred and bin this lot I have weighing down the cupboard. Sometimes you need to go through all your old paperwork you stash away don'tcha, all so unnecessary. Aviva is the worst, Dave gets fanmail from them each and every week, sometimes pages and pages of it, why? He hasn't even kept up his policy, he's frozen it until he's retired now cos he can't afford to pay the high subscriptions anymore for his pension and of course, they won't pay any of it BACK will they until he's 70!!! Better stop there before I go off on one and end up in the sick bay

I still haven't rung that friend, I really must do that now......

Yes please Helena, let me know what stuff Dave was using, that ox acid thing looks a bit scary to me
although if I have to use it I will.
Mind you I see people wearing life jackets nowadays to do maintenance jobs by the canal and stuff, so sometimes things can get a bit over exaggerated can't they.
