Growth spurts

Howdy everyone, this is my first post. I've had my dog for 4 months and thoroughly enjoy the little s*** He seems to eat better than I do and definitely gets more unbothered sleep. My question is, being how he is 7 months and weighs 45 pounds, how much bigger can I expect him to get?
Thank you,Dennis

Hi, you mention he is a lab mix what is he mixed with?

General rule is by month 8 if a larger breed then they will be about 80% of their fully grown up size and weight. This does vary though. Some dogs continue growing until past 2 years of age, although growth is dramatical slower. If he is a cross with a smaller breed then he will probably reach his full height in the next couple of months.

They tend to grow upwards first then outwards.

Thank you all very much, I would post a photo but seem to be lost on exactly where to do that on this site. I will check around the site and try to figure that out.
