For cat owners

Just got a delivery of food from Burns. There was a newsletter with it, in which it said that feline health is improving so much we can expect our cats to live to 20.
Good news!

I'm soooo happy to hear that! Smudge is 5 and that means I have another 15 years with her.

Although, I'm not sure whether that will be the case, she's a very fit cat but she enjoys crisps (pringles) in particular when I have them and I don't have much of a say as she steals them while I'm eating them! - Do you think the salt content may go against her? lol

She doesn't have them much because I don't!

Do any of you know the average age for cats now?

I´m asking cause most of the cats I´ve known have lived past the age 20.
Mine´s 14 now so hopefully we´ll have years ahead of us together
