Yes!! I wouldnt want to be left in the dark so why would they. And.....sure enough when i get home they are always in the room i left the light on in. I have swopped rooms just to check it wasnt coincidence.
Oh and always leave the radio on for them.

Yes, I do, too... and when it's really cold, I pop the heating on low as well if I think their jumpers won't be enough

not on purpose... eg I wouldnt turn a light on at lunch time if I thought I wouldnt be home untill after dark.. but if I pop out at night i dont turn all the lights out.. it goes like a fair this house so there are normaly always lights on...all over the place...lol

my OH turns the light in the kitchen off at night times but koda puts it on again if he wants lol,my OH thought we had a ghost until we realised koda was doing it

we do sometimes at night leave the hall light on if we are poppin out but this is more for ourselves aswell so we can see when we come home!!!

No I don't leave a light on for dogs, it isn't necessary dogs have excellent night vision, much better than humans .

I wouldn't put a light on for my animals... When it's dark, they sleep (except for the rats, of course).. Most animals have brilliant night vision, and should I happen to turn off the lights before I'm ready, I just grab Ben's collar, and he'll make sure I don't walk into doors or walls... lol.. I don't put a radio on for them either - I suppose because I like quiet, when I'm trying to sleep...
