Just a sad update, Louis was put to sleep earlier today. He had one treatment of Chemotherapy and after a day or two, appeared to be okay, but over the course of the following week to ten days, he slowly got worse and weaker. His second chemo. session was due today, but my friend, with the help from her vet, decided it was kinder to let Louis go peacefully and with dignity.

Of course my friend is in bits, but I wanted to let you know, and thank you all for your lovely kind words of encouragement.

I'm so so sorry to hear this I hope your friend can take a little comfort in the knowledge that she clearly did everything she could. Run free Louie, you were clearly much loved

I'm so sorry to hear about Louis. At least your friend can take comfort in knowing that she was doing all she could for him.
