Good morning everyone, I think you must all be having a lie in this morning.

I took Amber out with the walker this morning as the doc said I should still try to do some walking. I will take her out with blue lunchtime.

Morning Moyra yes lie-in for me today. Dillon came in at 10 last night after popping out at 9 for a wee and a lie-down so I locked up went to bed and he slept and stayed in all night.
I was surprised as it was very warm yesterday.
Rained a lot here overnight and very dull and breezy this morning.
Gorden home tonight bringing tea and is now off till beginning September.
I think that's a good balance Moyra I think that's what Nippy Jen does. Tango gives her the opportunities to go places that would be too much walking so Blue will be able to give you that freedom too now.

Collie is sulking as I had no raw chicken for them this morning..

Heavy rain and some parts have flood warnings out but thankfully it should miss us here.

All is ready for an early start tomorrow so am abed, and eating as much as I can in preparation for a long hard weekend! Never traded at this town before; there is mention of a roasted pig which is a pretty standard attraction at many festivals here!
Hope they are giving free samples but doubt it! Not had roast pork for many years.

Onwards with the knitting...

Morning Moyra you are like me I make a point of walking at least to the paper shop each morning, often a struggle but it's gotta be done!

Today we are going out for a birthday lunch (have I mentioned it's my birthday on Monday!!) The carpets are being laid on Monday so we won't be able to go very far that day.

I've been thinking about this dreadful weather that is on it's way. I'm afraid Helena won't see much of the meteor shower through the clouds Bad weather and meteor showers always seem to coincide

The washing is finished so I had better get it on the line.

It's a bit grey looking this morning, hopefully it will brighten up later, not that I'm doing much. Will nip into town as I've some shopping to get.

Beautiful morning here today. Had an extra long walk on the bridleway with Poppy this morning as we were up early so she's now snoozing behind me!
Sorry the weather's not better for everyone but hope it picks up.

Just had an ESB man up here checking the power lines. The dogs gave him a grrrrrrrrrrrrr eat welcome!

He has a rescued collie too!
