trip to vet

been to vets with indie today, thought id let u know how she got on.
She hasnt been eating at all. Vet said she had a temperature which was at 104. Whatever that means, gave her 2 injections of antibiotics and shes on some tablets for a week.
Says he doesnt know what is causing her not to eat as there was no other symptoms and a urine sample came up clear

will just have to wait and see

just realised i forgot to ask them about the cut on her foot. Do u think maybe thats causing her temperature? and will the antibiotics sort that out or do i need to take her back? it doesnt look very clean, but it doesnt look infected?

Jen the cut may have become infected so causing her high temp. It doesn't have to look infected to be infected if you know what I mean.

I'd phone the vets to tell them about the cut and they should be able to tell you over the phone if she needs to go back down or not.

I hope Indie feels better soon Jen

Oh poor Indie.

I would also call the vet and tell them about the cut on the foot. Could be that, that's causing the temperature.

You can bathe the cut in salt water solution which may help
