Woody's 1st camping trip of the season

We have moved into the GlamCamping genre and bought ourselves a new tent, so we popped 20 minutes down the road near Bourton-on-the-Water last weekend to try it out.

We cancelled Saturday night's stay as it was chucking down, but Sunday was gale force winds! Trust me, pitching a new tent in gale force winds is a definite road to divorce ;o)

Still, we got it up in the end, kissed and made up and all was well with the world, although Oh My God it was cold overnight!

We even celebrated and Christened our new tent, Louis (camp - get it ;o)

It looks lovely Em! I had a tent as a child, only a 2 man jobby. I used to put that up every weekend in the back garden, no matter what the weather was like! I remember fighting with the top sheet plus the fact my cat would try her hardest to scupper my efforts!!

Love the photo of Woody in the cornfield too! Our regular walk is through the middle of one and now the corn is getting high, Lily does a wonderful impression of a spring lamb bouncing through it!!

Glad all was well once the tent was up. I can imaging things would get a little heated struggling with that!!
