Puppy Tails

One of my students got a new mini poodle puppy today and brought it with her to school.

To my absolute delight, she has a TAIL!

Can you believe I have never seen a poodle with a full tail!

Really a shame I was raised in a country that habitually mutilates perfectly good dogs. People come to think of an animal as supposing to look at certain way, when really.....

Nature intended poodles to have long, lush, loopy tails! Its curls up over her back when she plays and its just the sweetest thing ever!

I'll get pics on Monday if she brings her again!

She's calling her "gringa" LOL

Yesterady I bought a poodle with a tail, unfortunately he is in Germany so I have to wait til he gets through the pet passport (unless someone knows of a fool proof method of smuggling him into the UK without getting caught :smt002 )
I've called him Cooper!

I think Hewey is stating that poodles (and indeed every other breed of domestic dog) are manmade, not a natural mutation so to speak, I'm not sure if that is being used to justify docking though!
