Evie, in the nicest possible way it's really not good to not wash them after each play. Only if you're putting food in them of course. Lots of bacteria can grow on the little bits of food left in there and that's not too good for our little doglets.

ours goes in the dishwasher after each use - it gets covered in all kinds of fluff & debris!
