Hi everybody

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site. Have registered an account since I booked this puppy. But just now I decided to post since I finally picked up my puppy! A 10 weeks old pembroke corgi! I have had a daschund about that died at about 3 years ago.
I have never trained a dog before so I will need a lot of tips and tricks

Hoping to get along with you all!

Welcome from me, a Scotsman living in England.
I have no experience in formal training so I can't advise on that.
But, we are lucky to have dog that just seems to learn. This morning, for example, we stopped and chatted to another dog walker as we dog walkers do. Max, my dog, did his usual meet and greet then just laid down on the grass, kept his eyes on me (I was told) and got up when I moved on.
No command given. And no lead.

As I have posted here before, it is a two way learning curve.
I knew what I expected him to do and he watched me expecting me to do what I did. They are smart.
