I never go to the cinema, I cannot remember the last film I saw there, however I will go and see this one as I think the scale of the film demands the big screen.

I know lots of people who have seen the stage show and they have all, without exception, found it very emotional.

So I would imagine the addition of the John Barry? musical score, Hollywood Schmaltz, I will need a box of Industrial Strength Kleenex.

I just have to find a time to go when I will not fall asleep and not full of noisy brats.

I have heard bad things about this...how they portray the horse in a human like way to "take one for the team" etc...I will still go and see it, though it will disappointing if what I have heard is true.

Go early, you might not get in!!!! Enjoy!!!
Me too! Jamie hates sad stories-he says real life is sad enough at times without watching sad films but I like a good weepie. I would have loved to see the stage play though as it looked brilliant on Breakfast tv news programme when they showed you the puppeteers with the horse puppets.

I went to see it last night, I dragged OH who didn't particularly want to see it, but went coz I have been desperate to see it for months I thought it was amazing, and loved it! OH really enjoyed it too, which I was pleased with and really says a lot I really expected to cry, and although some parts were really sad, I surprisingly didn't...

I watched it tonight as well It's very sad. Some bits aren't really true to life of how horses react, but it's very watchable and the bit through no mans land made me cringe, barbed wire i s every horse owners worst nightmare

When we came out from seeing it last night, I said to OH that the no mans land bit was one of my favourites... until he hit the barbed wire
