Starting a dog blog....

Hi,
I am wanting to start a dog blog, a really basic one. I will mainly be using as a diary to help with her reactive training but thought a blog would be a good idea. Does anyone else use blogs or can reccomend any good ones?

I've blogged about the first dog I had (and unfortunately losing her). Here's a couple example articles (warning some are sad).

I think the best thing you can do is be consistent. Pick a date/time to blog each day or week, and make sure to add pictures or video to see the progress.

You could even weave in some stories or adventures (like hikes, etc.) as your dog gets older.

I have my own and one that I write for with multiple people. Both rather inactive at the moment.

I like them both though I think that Wordpress is perhaps a bit more user friendly. I agree with consistency. We had the best response when we kept to a schedule (M and F posts, W was a Wordless Wednesday picture post). But we've all run out of things to say and so...the blog got quiet.

I think the best place to start would be Wordpress.com or Blogger.com. They allow you to create a blog pretty easily with generally good design although Wordpress is the best.
