Any creative sparks out there please?!

I really hate carrying anything in my hands. I'll avoid it at all costs. I really don't like carrying poo bags around when full (obviously I still do though) and sometimes there isn't a bin for ages on a walk...I've found a couple of things that have been designed for this, but they're really expensive (for me right now)...

The Dicky Bag

and

The Leashpod
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Leashpod-d...item7dbbb634f4

Both around £20 or more...so my question is, does anyone know of any cheaper things like this, or something that's not perhaps designed for the purpose but you think/have used and would work as well? I'm normally all right at being creative and thinking of ways round...but not this time, I'm stuck!!!

How about a small camera case clipped/velcroed/threaded onto your lead? I saw some in boots the other day that would do the trick.

When I want my hands free, I sometimes attach them to the end of the lead that clips onto the harness. The Ruffwear harnesses mean it sits on the harness, not the fur, and it doesn't really swing around. Being fed raw, their poos are usually pretty small though.

Otherwise a dog treat bag that clips onto your belt/trousers would do the job I think. Drawstring ones would seal tightly and you could always pop something scented in there to help cover the odour - scrap of fabric with some essential oils dropped onto it, or some tights/stockings chopped short and filled with bicarb (great natural deodouriser). Cheap too, e.g. this one's £4 BIN

Just check the way they clip on, I've got one that you need to have a belt, or belt loops on your trousers (or I clip it onto the lead) as it needs to go through something, whereas my JWB freebie one has a proper clip so will clip over the edge of your trousers or onto pockets

Genius! Plus if anyone steals it thinking it's a camera case will be pleasantly surprised! Thanks I'll need a medium/large though as Axel sometimes saves up his poos and does a few!

Great idea, thanks! I'll look at the link I'd need one to clip on the lead too and great idea about the scent...definitely nice if it doesn't smell!

Hi Melanie how about an insulated drinks bag the sort you get for babies bottles.
They come in a variety of shapes and sizes some with straps and costing only a few pounds.
You could then put the full poo bag inside and the insulation should prevent any smell..
..some examples here..

This one £5..http://www.amazon.co.uk/Luxury-Bottl...d_sim_sbs_by_3

I've got those halti-type leads without a hand hole but you make one with a clip and D ring so to speak - I just clip the bag onto one of them.

I did experiment making a poo bag and scoop holder to clip onto the lead - it works OK-ish but |I'm not 100% happy with it so only use it when we're in-transit or similar.

Do you have a picture, I don't quite know what you mean

____________
I have looked at these bottle holder and think they'll be the way to go

I like this type

This one is possibly the winner though because it fits 2 small bottles and a sippy cup apparently, so should fit 3 x Greyhound sized used poo bags! Plus I can put my keys/phone in the front and take even less stuff out!

Thank you! Off to bid I'll report back how it works
