I can kind of see the logic, the rescue doesn't want to rehome to a home that goes against their principles. Lots of rescues are anti-breeding because of having to mop up the mess time and time again and if they believe that strongly that all dogs should be spayed/neutered then maybe they feel hypocritical homing to someone who refuses to do so. I do think it is a little bit of a shame, especially when there are genuine reasons for not neutering or spaying a dog (moreso in males - e.g. neutering a nervous male can aggravate issues) but I suppose it's no different to them refusing to home who doesn't vaccinate if they firmly believe in annual vaccinations, or whatever. They want to rehome to people with the same morals as themselves.

They have added a litter of cairns and a shelty cross since eariler.

I am always looking on the many tears site, but the last time I checked there was ONE dog on it in scotland, that makes it a bit tricky for me to ever get any from them
As much as I would have loved to!

They get so many collies/collie Xs in from Ireland & have turned down super Obedience homes because there are entire dogs/bitches in the home. It's really sad, they obviously do not trust the people that come to them for a dog & it that is the case then those people shouldn't get a dog from them anyway !

Yes I had actually! Totally adorable.
I am not looking for another dog just yet, but it is nice to know of rescue places close for when I do - on the off chance many tears has one close at the time.
I don't go on many tears much as I end up falling in love with some of the dogs lol
