Christmas wishes and update.

I haven't been on for a while so wanted to pop on to wish everyone a happy Christmas and to update everyone.

All is well with the baby and i heard it's heart beat the other day! I have also begun to feel it move, which is a very odd sensation! I am 17 weeks now.

It is my birthday today and it was Paul's mum's birthday on the 22nd. She planned to come with us on a dog training dog walk in the New Forest on 20th December. We got to the forest, she got out of the car, fell backwards over a log, landed on a rock........so Paul took her straight to hospital and she has fractured a vertibray in her spine.

So since then we have been staying with her, looking after her and trying to make sure Tonks doesn't cuddle her too enthusiastcally!

Amazingly she is up and walking but cannot do any bending or twisting. She is ok as long as she does things very slowly....she has some great pain killers!

She is off to her daughters today and we are off to Cardiff.......so i will keep a look out for any familiar faces (dog and human) dog walking in Cardiff! (Luna especially!)

Isn't it strange when you feel those "flutterings" as the baby moves? Wait for another couple of months, when you get booted up the ribs. Not so pleasant but reassuring to know that your little bundle is full of life and kicking

Enjoy your Christmas. This time next year you'll be parcelling up lots of baby pressies for your little one - arrrrrh

Thanks for all your replies. Taken Tonks and mum's dog on a two hour walk today to wear them out....i am definately worn out!

Paul's mum is on the mend, but forgot to take her tablets last night so isn't so good this morning apparantly.....and she can't get her socks on! So she will have to go sockless until she is with her daughter on Christmas day. ;(

I had a quiet birthday and am hoping for a quiet relaxing Christmas here in Cardiff.
