Happy 50th anniversary Grandma & grandpa Wufflehound
Well guess what?
Today is also Mummy & Daddy of Tillymint's 50th Wedding Anniversary too

I got them a lovely frame & my brother nicked a photo of them on their wedding day for me to put in & they were delighted with it & still so much in love
Sadly I can't be with them today, but I went up last week for a few days!

Mum and Dad at the meal tonight

All of us at dinner

Me and Dad

Mum and John

The best part was the text my brother sent from Canada which had us all in tears and reads as follows:

Kev’s Text on Mum and Dad’s Golden Wedding Anniversary
Missing you all Terribly.
Lately, more than anything I have been thinking about home and what that means.
I have come to realize that it’s not a country, a place or a building – it’s being with the people you love and care about and who love and care about you.
Mum and Dad have been providing a home for each other and the rest of the family for 50 years now.
On this 50th Anniversary of theirs, I feel very far from home indeed and wish more than anything that I could be there to say Happy Anniversary in person, give them both a big hug and say thank you for always being there.
Love,
Kevin
