Stirling castle (pic heavy)
Took a trip to the castle today and took some pics.
The portcullis gate.
The same, taken from the Kings garden.
This is the military museum, from the garden.
The Chapel.
The tapestries in the chapel, they're 9 feet tall.
The Kings banquet hall, the hammer beam roof was rebuilt recently and took 650 tons of scottish oak, all held together with wooden pins, no nails or screws.
A dreaded redcoat, the guy was English.
And the guy that the redcoats chased for years, Rob Roy McGregor.
The inside pics took a lot of work, tripod 1/10 sec exposure, all pics taken with Canon kit lens. 18 - 55mm.
