Donating Hair- anyone know where?

As some of you know my friend John has cancer and i was at the hospital today and was chatting to the Mcmilllian nurse about doing some fundrasing for Cancer Research

i am going to organise a charity nite and would like to get my long hair shaved off (much to my hubbys horror) and donate my hair to charity for cancer patients wig making
do any of you know any charities that accept hair for this type of thing please

Have you considered contacting Cancer Research themselves? They may well know of wig manufacturers who use real hair.
